This 25 year old company has been supplying convenience stores, jewelry stores, card manufacturers, gift shops, public entities, Museums, Universities and Malls with their display case needs. As an e-commerce pioneer (12 years b2b selling on the net), The Fixtures Group is a proven model of the longevity and success that a strong web presence can provide. The company started in 1984, as a brick and mortar office with a warehouse/showroom with their initial customers being small jewelry and gift shops. Cold calling store to store with their company catalogue is how they acquired their very first customers. At one point they obtained a significant relationship with a card manufacturer and designed and manufactured the very first acrylic card racks. Then in 1997, after the tech bubble burst, the entire business was moved online.
The Fixtures Group’s first logo and website was designed by a high school student. As the internet has evolved so has The Fixtures Group, they have recently created a fan page on Facebook and a Twitter. Their customers range from small mom and pop stores to Government entities, Universities, Museums and Malls. The Fixtures Group has been featured on eHow and mentioned by James Stephenson and Jason R. Rich’s in their book 202 Things You Can Buy and Sell for Big Profits. They were sited as a source for Stephenson and Rich’s Mall and Shopping Center Kiosks section, as The Fixtures Group is a major supplier of their own line of mall kiosks.
